The beaches of Maui are some of the most picturesque and most visited beaches in all the islands. Starting from the small, cove-like beaches at Kapalua to the long ribbon of sand at Kaanapali in the north to the beach parks of Kihei and Makena's big beach on the south side of the island. Maui os a favorite to all that experience her magic and warm, white sand. |

Lahaina to Kapalua
Central Maui (North Shore)
Makena to Ma'alaea
Most of these beaches do not have lifeguard service (unless noted) and should be considered wilderness beaches. Wilderness beaches are beaches that have limited or no public facilities. Most of the beaches on Maui will have some local vendors selling food, beverages and of course shave ice. Please remember to bring some snacks, a beverage or two and plenty of sunscreen as the tropical sun will wreak havoc on all non-islanders. |
